There is no question; Jesus Christ fulfilled and strengthened the Father’s Commandments!

Mt 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

We no longer are under the Commanded laws of rituals, washings, and the ceremonies of the Levite priests of the old religion.  Our Lord fulfilled His purpose and gave all of us a way to atone for our sins, becoming the true High Priest in the Holiest of Holies, sitting next to God, and providing the blood of the Lamb of God.
The Commandments, however, are not done away with; they are as important as ever.

Jon 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

Jesus taught that the most important, the very first commandment:

Mk 12:29 And Jesus answered himThe first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
This does not apply to Jews only; the Messiah came to save all nations and give everyone a path to the Father.  Israel of God are the people of the right and true faith and understanding.

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Most believe that the Jews and Israel are synonymous; but they are not.
The words “chosen people” do not mean only the Jews; the chosen people, are Israel!
Genesis 35: 11 teaches that God changes Jacob’s name to Israel and promises “a nation and a company of nations…and Kings…” would come from his loins, and his descendants are all over the world today!  The Hebrew people were slaves in Egypt; then they became warriors and conquerors, and they then settled the Promised Land.

They were all Israelites, because they worshipped the Almighty God of Israel.  Intermarriage was lawful as long as they accepted the faith; they were all of Israel!  Not because of where they lived or who their mother or father were; it has always been based on the faith.
Numbers 12: 1 tells us Moses’ wife was Ethiopian.
The Israelite people were conquered and dispersed throughout the world approximately 2500 years ago, and today they are a part of many nations.

Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Therefore, if you are a believer in the Messiah, our High Priest, the King of Israel, and you pray to the Almighty Father the God of Israel, then you are a part of Israel!

Rev 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

So then, when our Lord teaches that this is the first Commandment and it starts “Hear o Israel,” we Christians must pay attention!
Christians are the Israel of God!
